How do I write a good screener?
Last updated 27 October 2026
A screener is a few questions people answer before they apply. Keep it short and neutral:
- Ask what people do, not what they think. “Which mobile network are you on?” beats “Do you like mobile money?”
- Don’t hint at the answer you want. We flag leading questions and suggest a fairer one.
- Mark which answers qualify. People who don’t qualify never reach your Applicants list.
