Should I run a call or a task test?
Last updated 27 October 2026
There are two kinds of study:
- Moderated call: a one-on-one video call with you. Talk live, watch their screen and take timestamped notes. Best when you want to ask follow-up questions.
- Unmoderated task test: step-by-step tasks and questions people do on their own and record themselves. Best for quick feedback from more people. Participants take part when it suits them, even at night.
Task tests are priced per step: GHS 10 a task and GHS 5 a question.
